Why is this process important?
With the integration between iFood and SWFast, orders placed through iFood are automatically imported into the store’s system.
However, for these orders to be properly recorded and synchronized with the operation’s indicators, a POS operator action is required for each entry.
Without this manual synchronization, receipts may only be recorded at the end of the shift or the next day, affecting the accuracy of operational data.
What problems can occur without synchronization?
When delivery orders are not synchronized at the correct time, important issues may arise:
Lack of control over hourly sales
If receipts are recorded only at the end of the shift, hourly sales metrics become distorted, making it difficult to identify peak hours.
Loss of synchronization with Visio Pista
Visio Pista uses receipt timestamps to match preparation videos with orders. Without proper synchronization, this association loses accuracy, affecting analyses and possible validations.
Incorrect metrics in Visio Analytics
Sales indicators may become inaccurate until the receipts are finally recorded in the system.
How to perform the correct process
To ensure data accuracy and avoid inconsistencies, operators must synchronize each delivery order by following the procedure below.
Step 1 — Order received
When an iFood order arrives:
- Follow the order instructions as usual;
- After preparing the order, access the delivery screen in the system;
- Click the button indicating the order is ready.
Step 2 — Synchronization at the register
Then:
- Go to the register screen;
- Press the F12 key.
This command makes the iFood order appear in the SWFast integrator for receipt issuance.
Step 3 — Operator confirmation
To complete:
- Enter the cashier/operator as usual;
- Press Enter to confirm.
The fiscal document will be generated and the receipt will be automatically recorded in the system, completing the synchronization.
Step 4 — Repeat for each order
This procedure must be performed for every delivery order received and picked up by the courier.
Consistency in this process ensures that:
- Sales are recorded at the correct time;
- Reports reflect the real operation;
- Integrations with Visio solutions work properly.
How this impacts the operation
Correctly following the synchronization flow allows:
- Accurate control of delivery sales;
- Reliable indicators in Analytics;
- Proper functioning of Visio Pista;
- Better operational management over time.
